God
There is One and only One living and true God who exists eternally within three separate persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Word of God
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. We believe that God’s Word is infallible (without error).
Man
Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. In the beginning man was innocent of sin and was endowed by his Creator with freedom of choice. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race.
Salvation
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. We believe that man, created in the image of God consists of three distinct parts, the body, the spirit, and the soul and therefore there is a redemptive process of the entire man (the salvation of the spirit, the salvation of the soul, and the salvation of the body).
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. We believe that baptism does not save a person, rather it is an outward expression of the believer’s intent to follow Christ daily.
The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
The Lord’s Day
The first day of the week is the Lord’s Day. It is a Christian institution for regular observance. It commemorates the resurrection of Christ from the dead and should include exercises of worship and spiritual devotion, both public and private.
The Kingdom of Heaven
We believe that the Kingdom of Heaven is a future event which will last 1,000 literal years (Revelation 20:6) and that each believer has the possibility of ruling with Christ during His millennial reign. Following the 1,000 years we believe the Bible states that the Kingdom will be handed over to the Father and subsequently last forever (1 Corinthians 15:24).
Judgment for the Believer
We believe that the Bible clearly states that every believer in Christ must be held accountable for their lives at the Judgment Seat of Christ (1 Corinthians 3:10-15, 2 Corinthians 5:10). We believe that the Bible states that at this Judgment Seat of Christ rewards or the loss of rewards awaits the individual believer based on their yielding of their lives to the Lordship of Christ.
